Hello Kitty Life Story

A company called Sarrio, based in Tokyo was looking for a new character that would appeal to the young girls across the world. In 1975 they found it. Hello Kitty was created as an image to put on a small change purse. Since then,

Hello Kitty has proven that she will be around for quite some time more.

When Sarrio needed a character to put on a change purse that was coming
out soon they challenged a designed to make it happen. The designer's
thoughts went to work and soon the extra loveable character called Hello
Kitty was born.

As a trademark for Hello Kitty, she always wears a red bow tied just so
perfectly in front of her left ear. In the first ever Hello Kitty closet was a blue
pair of overalls. You can see the complete outfit in her first photo which
depicted her standing comfortably between two of her favorite things, a jug
of milk and her pet goldfish.

Her head was turned to the side as if to look at the items that she had setting beside her. This picture was adorable and has been described in Japanese as "kawaii", or cute.

There have been some really heated online discussions about the fact that Miss
Kitty has no mouth. The feminists believe that the fact that Hello Kitty does
not have a mouth is giving young girls the belief that their words are not
important.

While this was the opinion of some feminists, not everyone felt this way.
Other people believe that leaving a blank facial expression stimulates
imagination in young girls. They believed that leaving the mouth off will allow young females to imagine what the feline is going through and imagined that she
understood what they are telling her.

It is hard to imagine that the Hello Kitty Flower shot glasses were created just put on a coin purse. It
has exploded into a globally recognized toy and will be in the hearts and
hands of young girls every where.
